Besik Makashvili graduated from the Faculty of Business and Technology of the Georgian State University and is currently a Master’s student in Applied Mathematics and Contemporary Paradigms at Ilia State University. He has been working in the fields of economics and finance since 2015 and possesses professional experience in both the public and non-governmental sectors.
Specifically, he was employed at the Samgori District Administration of Tbilisi City, where he served in the positions of Specialist and Head of Department. In addition, he has acted as a visiting trainer for various non-governmental organizations, delivering lectures on “The Priorities of Georgia’s Economic Development” and other related academic courses. Since 2025, he has been working at the Budget Office of the Parliament of Georgia.
Besik Makashvili has completed a professional training program of the State Procurement Agency of Georgia. In 2013, he was awarded the State Decoration, the “Civil Dedication Medal,” in recognition of his contribution to youth education.
In addition to his native Georgian, he is proficient in English and Russian.
